Foodteria does not deliver. Turning this on shows a Delivery option at checkout and lets customers enter an address. That is all it does. Getting the food to the customer is on you — your own drivers, or a courier you've arranged separately. Don't enable delivery until you have a fulfilment plan.
Turning it on
Connect Stripe first. Delivery orders are always paid online, so the toggle won't turn on until your Stripe account is connected. Until it is, the tab shows Stripe account required and a Set up Stripe button that takes you where you need to go.
The toggle itself is on the Delivery Order tab. On, customers see a Pickup vs Delivery choice at checkout, and picking Delivery reveals address fields plus a delivery-instructions box. Off, they never see it and every order is a pickup.
The delivery fee
Enter a dollar amount and tap Update.
It is a single flat fee on every delivery order. There's no per-distance, per-zone or minimum-order option.
- Customers see it beside the Delivery choice before they commit, and again on the order summary.
- It's added to the subtotal before tax.
- $0.00 is allowed, if you're absorbing it.
What the cashier sees
A delivery order arrives like any other, but the card carries a DELIVERY badge, the full address, the customer's instructions, and a +Delivery Fee line.
Accept and complete it as normal. The POS doesn't call a courier — that part is yours.
