When someone finds your restaurant on Google, the Order online panel can lead straight to your own store instead of a delivery app. You add the link yourself, on your Google Business Profile. Back Office gives you the link to paste, and the steps.

Before you start

  • Your Google Business Profile is claimed and verified, and you're signed in as an Owner or Manager of it.
  • Your ordering link, from Back Office. Open Online Order → Pickup Order. Under Online Order Website Link, choose the page language your customers mostly use (English, Français or 한국어), then copy the link below it. It looks like https://order.foodteria.ca/online-order/<your store id>/en?src=gbp. Paste it exactly as shown: the ?src=gbp at the end marks visits that come from Google, so leave it on. Don't use the QR-ordering link.

Steps

The same steps are in Back Office, under How to add it to your Google Business Profile below the link.

  1. Go to business.google.com and select your business. Signed in, you can also search your business name on Google — the management panel appears above the results.
  2. Choose Edit profile, then Food ordering.
  3. At the bottom of the list of providers, choose Add a link, paste your ordering link, and save.
  4. Select the link you just added and choose Set as preferred.
  5. Turn on Preferred for pickup. If you deliver through Foodteria, turn on Preferred for delivery too.
  6. Save.

Your store now sits at the top of the Order online panel with a Preferred by business badge, above any delivery apps.

If you'd rather a delivery app didn't appear at all, select it in the same list and choose Remove link.

Check it

Open a private browser window and search for your restaurant. Google can take anywhere from a few minutes to a few days to show the change. Click the link and confirm it opens your store in the right language.

If it doesn't work

  • The link opens "Store not found" — part of the link is missing or wrong. Copy it again from Online Order → Pickup Order in Back Office.
  • The badge doesn't show yet — give it up to a few days and check again in a private window.
  • You can't see Edit profile — you're not an Owner or Manager of the profile. Ask whoever set it up to add you, or to add the link for you.
