Sales Channels → Online Order has four tabs. General Settings holds the master behaviour; Pickup Order, Delivery Order and QR Order are one per channel.
The first time you open any of them you'll see an empty state with an Enable Online Order button. Tap it.
Activation is one-way. There is no Deactivate button. To stop taking online orders later, use the Turn ON/OFF master toggle instead — that goes dark without losing your configuration.
What activation does
- All four Online Order tabs start working.
- An Online Orders tab appears on the POS home screen, where incoming orders arrive.
- The POS starts asking the morning Open Store / Keep Closed prompt. Brief your staff so it doesn't surprise them — see Opening and pausing online orders.
What activation does not do
It does not open your store. The master toggle is still off, and your schedule is still empty — and an empty schedule means every day reads as closed.
Before you go live: set your hours, turn the master toggle on, and answer the morning prompt.
Your store link
The Pickup Order tab holds your Online Order Website Link, in the form order.foodteria.ca/online-order/…. Click the box to copy it, or Open Page to see it.
There's nothing to configure there — the tab exists so you can grab the link. Put it on your website's "Order Online" button, your Instagram bio, your Facebook page, an email footer.
The same link serves pickup and delivery. Pickup is the default; delivery only appears as a choice once you've enabled it.
What customers see when you're not open
They can still browse your menu and build a cart — the checkout button is replaced by a status message. If the store reopens while they're still on the page, they can finish.
Their cart is not saved if they close the tab.
