Leaving a table can bring up one of two warnings. They look alike and mean different things, so read the title first.
"Table Changes Weren't Synced"
You're on your main POS, and the table couldn't be saved to your account.
Nothing is lost. The table is still on this station exactly as you left it. Tap Retry. If it fails again, Leave Unsynced — the station keeps trying on its own and usually gets it through. Stay keeps you on the table.
The message names the cause:
- No internet connection — check the station's Wi-Fi, then retry.
- This POS doesn't control this table right now — another station has it. Wait a moment and retry, or have that station leave the table first.
- Sign in again — the station's session has expired.
- This table's payment is still being released — wait a few seconds and retry.
"Table Changes Weren't Saved"
You're on a handheld or a second station, and your main POS never took the table.
This one matters. Your changes are on the tablet in your hand and nowhere else. Take Exit Anyway and nobody else can see them.
- Retry first. Check your main POS is switched on, awake, and on the same network.
- If the message says the main POS didn't confirm in time, check the main POS before you assume the work is lost — it sometimes takes the table and fails to say so. Retrying is safe either way: it replaces the table rather than adding a second copy.
- If it says the table isn't open on this tablet any more, reopen it from the floor plan and add the items again.
- If it says no main POS is selected, pick one in Settings.
Before you call support
Each of these messages ends with a short code in square brackets. Read that code out. It tells support exactly which step failed, which is faster than describing the screen.
