Images are how customers pick what they want on the kiosk and your online store. They live in one place — Menu Library → Images — and get assigned from a product or category, not from the images page itself.
Uploading
Tap Upload Image, then drag files onto the drop zone or click to pick them. You can do many at once; a preview grid shows what you've selected before you commit.
Two limits, and both reject the file rather than fixing it for you:
- PNG and JPG only. GIF, SVG, WebP and HEIC are refused.
- 3 MB per file. The limit is per file, not per batch — fifty small images in one go is fine.
Anything rejected is listed with the reason, so you'll know which ones didn't make it.
Assigning one
Open the product or category, find the Image section, and click to open the picker — it shows the same library. You can also drag a new file straight onto the picker and it'll upload and assign in one step.
Deleting
Hover a thumbnail and use the trash icon.
Where they show up
Category images become the tile on the kiosk and the banner on your online store. Product images appear on both.
On the POS, images appear only in Menubook — the screens where you assign them, so you can tell items apart while editing. The cashier's ordering screen never shows them, whichever Menu Layout you've picked (List, Grid or All in One), and neither does the payment screen. Products appear there as coloured buttons instead, set per item under POS Button Colors in Menubook.
